Description

  • Manage and expand key high-tech enterprise customer accounts across the Twilio platform.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to deliver revenue, gross margin, and gross profit targets.
  • Partner with Specialist Sales to support complex deals and help customers realize value across the portfolio.
  • Work with Product Specialists, Value Engineering, and Customer Value teams to drive solution adoption.
  • Build and maintain a disciplined forecast and achieve sales goals.
  • Run consultative sales cycles focused on discovery, customer needs, and internal advocacy.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert and share industry updates with the GTM sales organization.

Requirements

  • 10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in major account or strategic sales.
  • Experience managing or leading quantitative, highly analytical products and solutions.
  • Experience owning the total account relationship, including pipeline generation, customer acquisition, and multi-product adoption.
  • Ability to work effectively with business and highly technical leaders as a strategic partner.
  • Track record of building analytical account development strategies that support multi-product selling.
  • Proven experience managing forecasts and financial models.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to define processes and build programs.
  • Demonstrated success delivering profitable revenue and gross profit results for large-scale enterprise customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with telecom companies, including CPaaS, SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms.
  • Preferred domain experience in highly quantitative industries such as DevOps, fintech, advertising optimization, investment banking, security, or commodity trading.
  • Preferred software, SaaS, CPaaS, or PaaS selling experience.
  • Preferred familiarity with commerce platforms or two-sided marketplaces.
  • Remote role; not eligible for hire in CT, NJ, NY, WA, PA, or surrounding areas of San Francisco, Oakland, or San Jose, CA.
  • Approximately 20% travel is required.
