Description

  • Understand customer business drivers and decision-making processes.
  • Map Everpure and ecosystem technologies to measurable customer outcomes.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to drive revenue and new business.
  • Provide technical expertise on storage products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competing DAS, NAS, and SAN solutions.
  • Lead evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, and performance validation.
  • Create and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to secure technical wins.
  • Capture customer requirements and translate them into scalable, innovative solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for interoperability, functional, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with product and technical marketing on whitepapers and web presentations.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to maintain differentiated solution positioning.

Requirements

  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications; enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures.
  • Knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and distributed network environments.
  • Experience installing or configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory, storage, shared-memory, and cache architectures.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native, on-premises, public cloud, provisioning automation, and container environments.
  • Knowledge of VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, microservices, LAMP, and AWS Well-Architected Framework preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills, with curiosity and passion for explaining technology to customers.
