Description

  • Understand customer business drivers and decision-making criteria.
  • Translate customer requirements into solutions using Everpure products and relevant ecosystem technologies.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to drive revenue and new business.
  • Provide technical leadership on storage products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive offerings.
  • Manage evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, interoperability testing, and performance validation.
  • Create and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and prospects.
  • Contribute to or lead RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
  • Collaborate with product and technical marketing on alliance materials, whitepapers, and web presentations.
  • Track competitors and market trends to maintain differentiated solution positioning and thought leadership.
  • Promote roadmap exchanges and uphold Everpure’s customer-first values.

Requirements

  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications.
  • Experience selling enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures.
  • Knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and distributed Linux networking environments.
  • Experience installing or configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, memory, cache, and storage subsystem architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native, on-premises, public cloud, provisioning automation, and container technologies.
  • Knowledge of VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, microservices, LAMP, and scale-out architectures preferred; experience with SQL or Oracle storage-intensive applications desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain emerging technologies to customers.
