Description

  • Understand customer business drivers and decision-making processes.
  • Map Everpure and ecosystem technologies to measurable customer outcomes.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to develop customer strategies and generate new business.
  • Provide technical leadership on storage products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competing DAS, NAS, and SAN offerings.
  • Manage evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, and technical validation.
  • Develop and deliver product and architecture presentations to secure technical wins.
  • Translate customer requirements into innovative solutions that support growth and capacity needs.
  • Identify opportunities for interoperability, functional, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with product and technical marketing on alliance materials, whitepapers, and web presentations.
  • Track market trends and competitors to maintain differentiated solution positioning and thought leadership.

Requirements

  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications; enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales experience preferred.
  • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures.
  • Knowledge of modern web architectures, including LAMP, scale-out and scale-up systems, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices.
  • Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into customers.
  • Experience contributing to or leading RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
  • Strong knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and distributed Linux networking environments.
  • Knowledge of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory, storage subsystems, shared memory, and cache architectures.
  • Understanding of cloud-native, on-premises, public cloud, provisioning automation, containers, VMware, networking, TCP/IP, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Familiarity with storage-intensive applications and structured databases such as SQL and Oracle is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with curiosity and enthusiasm for explaining technology to customers.
