Description

  • Provide pre- and post-sale integration and application development support.
  • Lead technical discussions with customers, consultants, architects, designers, sales, and engineering teams.
  • Deliver product training, presentations, demonstrations, and technical qualification of sales opportunities.
  • Create technical documents and drawings, assist with proposals, and review technical orders.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve technical issues, support customer service, and manage RMA-related activities.
  • Provide on-site customer and partner support for training and product installations.
  • Prepare and coordinate hardware and software applications for customer demonstrations.
  • Advocate customer needs and provide product enhancement feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
  • Support product rollouts, technical publication reviews, trade shows, and technical marketing content.
  • Advise management on product-development issues identified through customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Some higher education or vocational training, preferably in a technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably with a B2B technology company.
  • Knowledge of audiovisual products.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and selling skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems, solve issues, and maintain ongoing customer interactions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in team-oriented processes.
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle availability, and automobile insurance.
  • Valid U.S. passport and ability to travel regularly to Canada.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English and maintain professional conduct.
  • Ability to work extended hours, overtime, on-call shifts, nights, or weekends; lift, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds; and stand or walk for extended periods.
