Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making criteria.
  • Translate customer needs into technical solutions using the Everpure portfolio and ecosystem technologies.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to drive revenue growth and new business.
  • Provide technical leadership on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive offerings.
  • Lead customer evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
  • Deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and prospective accounts.
  • Capture requirements and convert business needs into innovative solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for interoperability, functional testing, and performance validation.
  • Work with product and technical marketing to create supporting materials such as white papers and web presentations.
  • Stay current on competitive positioning and market trends to inform thought leadership.

Requirements

  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
  • Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solution architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP stack, scale-out vs. scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture, is a plus.
  • Prior experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
  • Experience contributing to or leading responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Strong knowledge of storage architectures such as FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, on-premises and public cloud environments, provisioning automation, containers, VMware, networking, TCP/IP, AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with storage-intensive applications such as structured databases like SQL and Oracle is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
