Description

  • Partner with the Sales team to help customers evaluate and prove the value of Chainguard’s solution.
  • Own the technical aspects of sales opportunities and help current customers understand the value of Chainguard.
  • Assess prospect technical requirements and map Chainguard products to their unmet needs.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers and navigate competing stakeholder priorities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and lead POVs/POCs.
  • Respond to RFPs and RFIs with technical input.
  • Partner with engineering on requested features and product feedback.
  • Participate in webinars, meetups, conferences, and other marketing initiatives when applicable.
  • Focus on acquiring new customer logos while also growing the existing customer base.
  • Listen to customers and understand their challenges.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer.
  • Experience with MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message sales frameworks.
  • 3+ years of experience selling into Enterprise and Mid-Market prospects.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Serverless, and Docker.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience in cloud security, container security, or application security.
  • Startup experience.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor and build credibility with customers.
  • Strong team-player mindset with a willingness to help and mentor peers.
  • Must be located in the Central region of the US.
