Description

  • Lead technical discovery and advisory sessions with enterprise customers to identify high-value AI use cases.
  • Advise on end-to-end AI deployment, including model selection, training and fine-tuning strategies, inference optimization, data pipeline design, and evaluation, alignment, and safety frameworks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to qualify and position AI opportunities and develop proof-of-value prototypes tied to business outcomes.
  • Create enablement materials for field teams, partners, and customers, including technical walkthroughs, qualification guides, workshops, and vertical-specific use case frameworks.
  • Present at industry conferences, publish technical content and peer-reviewed research, and represent Pure in strategic partner engagements.
  • Work independently to scope high-impact initiatives and drive them through completion in ambiguous environments.
  • Support internal account teams by helping them position and qualify AI advisory opportunities across territories.
  • Work across Solutions, Marketing, Alliances, Engineering, Enablement, and Sales to align initiatives and go-to-market campaigns.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience demonstrated through publications and production system work.
  • 8+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in cloud or on-prem environments.
  • Deep expertise in modern AI/ML, including large language models, distributed training, inference optimization, agentic systems, evaluation and alignment frameworks, and classical ML.
  • Fluency with the modern AI stack, including PyTorch, vLLM, Ray, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with data platforms such as Spark, Snowflake, and Kafka.
  • Ability to scope and carry out research projects that support critical business objectives, independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience with large-scale AI infrastructure, including GPU clusters, high-performance storage, and containerized deployments (preferred).
  • Experience in customer-facing technical advisory or consulting roles with enterprise accounts (preferred).
  • Exposure to multiple industry verticals such as financial services, healthcare, telco, and manufacturing (preferred).
  • Publication record, conference presentations, or a recognized technical presence (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CRM or opportunity management systems, with Salesforce preferred.
