Description

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal teams during pre-sales activities.
  • Analyze, design, and help develop fully integrated technology solutions.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in Rubrik products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings.
  • Act as a technical expert and consultant to propose solutions that meet customer technology and business requirements.
  • Deliver technical and sales presentations to customer technical teams and senior management.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor and internal resource for technical issues and business applications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with account teams, partners, and customers to support sales objectives.
  • Lead technical sales calls and support pipeline generation with account executives.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements, competition, decision-making process, and funding.
  • Drive customer demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and day-to-day account-level technical activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales engineering experience, preferably in a software or data center environment.
  • Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
  • Knowledge of Rubrik products, distributed architectures, file systems, and SAN storage offerings.
  • Experience working with CxO-level personnel and translating business challenges into technology solutions.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple calls and demos per day and immediate follow-up.
  • Highly driven, energetic, and hands-on with a strong "can do" approach.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and resourceful, get-it-done attitude.
  • Smart, adaptable, and open-minded.
  • Experience supporting healthcare accounts or strategic enterprise accounts is preferred.
