Description

  • Own the sales pipeline for an assigned Houston territory and maintain accurate forecasting against quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
  • Develop and execute account strategies for enterprise customers by coordinating internal resources and shaping the value proposition for IT and business leaders.
  • Build and deepen relationships with C-level executives and other key decision-makers to position Pure Storage as a strategic partner.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial contact through contract close.
  • Coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams with sales specialists, Solutions Engineers, Marketing, Executives, and strategic channel partners.
  • Proactively identify, prospect, and acquire new logo business within the territory.
  • Navigate accounts from early outreach through boardroom-level engagement and technical decision-making.
  • Use customer insights and industry expertise to displace incumbents and solve complex data challenges.

Requirements

  • Experience engaging customers with strong executive presence and the ability to uncover business challenges.
  • A challenger mindset and the ability to apply thought leadership to complex customer problems.
  • Proven success leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • Experience collaborating across internal teams and external channel partners to drive shared outcomes.
  • Strong territory management and prospecting skills with a track record of opening new logo opportunities.
  • Ability to build and maintain a robust, healthy sales pipeline.
  • Location in or responsibility for the Houston territory.
  • Annual base salary range of $130,000 to $208,000 USD.
  • Role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
  • Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
