Description

  • Lead and manage the North American business development sales team.
  • Set clear performance expectations, sales targets, and operating rhythms to drive predictable revenue.
  • Monitor pipeline health through weekly inspections, deal qualification, and performance coaching.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, skill development, and career growth support to sales team members.
  • Partner with the VP of Sales and Talent to recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing sales professionals.
  • Own pipeline development, opportunity progression, forecast accuracy, and commit discipline.
  • Ensure disciplined CRM usage, data integrity, and adherence to sales processes and methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
  • Guide complex deal strategy, qualification, and negotiation planning to improve conversion and deal quality.
  • Oversee account planning and business development strategies to drive expansion in key client segments.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Delivery, Client Success, Product, Legal, and Finance to align go-to-market execution and client commitments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a quota-carrying B2B sales role.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a sales team.
  • Proven success leading consultative sales teams in professional services, advisory, consulting, or training environments.
  • Experience leading teams of 5-10 quota-carrying sales professionals.
  • Strong track record of coaching and developing sales professionals to improve performance and capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead revenue performance and pipeline development in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.
  • Experience implementing and reinforcing structured sales methodologies and pipeline management practices.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, sales analytics, and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Strong executive communication skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travel willingness of 20-30% for conferences, client meetings, or partner meetings; remote work open to US or Canada.

Benefits

  • Remote role open to candidates based in the US or Canada.
  • Anticipated OTE of $275,000-$285,000 CAD.
  • 50/50 compensation structure between base salary and variable pay.
