Description

  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, performance management, employee engagement, career development, payroll, benefits, and company processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day employee HR questions and support.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and write job descriptions.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline, especially for pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing roles.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and collaborate with external recruiters when needed.
  • Collaborate with leaders to design and implement learning, development, engagement, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Support career frameworks, performance reviews, coaching for managers, and a culture of feedback, recognition, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Own core HR operations such as onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and leaves of absence.
  • Ensure compliance with employment standards, benefits, workplace requirements, and payroll across the U.S. and Canada, including maintaining tax and local accounts.
  • Partner with legal, finance, and operations on HR matters as needed.
  • Refine and implement HR policies, practices, and benefits decisions to support culture and retention as the agency grows.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a high-growth, professional services, or creative agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. employment laws and practices; Canadian experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience leading recruitment and talent acquisition efforts.
  • Experience across at least three HR disciplines, such as employee relations, performance management, HR operations, learning and development, engagement programs, or culture-building initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are being built and improved.
  • Remote candidates based in the U.S. are eligible for the role.
  • Experience with Canadian employment compliance is preferred.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing recruitment is a plus.
