Description

  • Build and maintain relationships with workers’ compensation carriers and state agencies.
  • Support renewal processes for insurance programs, including timely submissions and negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, certificates of insurance, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate carrier performance reviews to help ensure service levels and standards are met.
  • Work with carriers to keep premium rates competitive for clients.
  • Monitor premium costs and help identify opportunities to stabilize or reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with client service and product teams to improve delivery and client experience.
  • Serve as a point of contact for complex workers’ compensation issues and support claims resolution.
  • Stay current on state and federal workers’ compensation regulations and ensure operational compliance.
  • Assist with compliance reporting, wage reporting, and claims documentation across states.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support scalability, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in workers’ compensation insurance operations within a U.S.-based PEO environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Practical experience using AI tools to support workers’ compensation workflows, such as claims documentation, reporting, compliance, or regulatory monitoring.
  • Comfort working with technology in a high-intensity, fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with guidance from leadership.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and regulatory changes.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience working remotely is preferred but not required.
  • Exposure to vendor management and contract negotiations is a plus.
