Description

  • Understand and communicate client business issues, operating rules, data, and standard operating procedures.
  • Execute and improve pre-defined operational processes to support client delivery.
  • Analyze structured claims and patient datasets such as DRG, IQVIA, McKesson, and Symphony claims.
  • Build and optimize SQL queries and pipelines, and use Excel and Python for automation and analysis.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with the Senior Data Analyst and Operations Delivery Lead.
  • Apply quality checks and validations to deliverables and report results to the Operations Delivery Lead.
  • Execute operational models for clients and help define more efficient models with detailed documentation.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across time zones to ensure delivery against timelines.
  • Test new or updated operational procedures to confirm accuracy and fidelity.
  • Investigate client questions, handle unplanned tasks, and carry out secondary research as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics/Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience using data mining languages/tools such as SQL.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel with VBA, and PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to stored procedures is a plus.
  • Experience with structured datasets such as DRG, Symphony, IQVIA, and McKesson.
  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Managed Markets Consulting, or Analytics Consulting is an advantage.
  • Experience working with teams across different time zones.
  • Experience leading the delivery of analytical results to clients, internal or external.
  • Master’s degree in these disciplines or an MBA/PGDM/equivalent is preferred.
  • Product development, management, or operations experience is preferred.
  • Modeling capabilities in Excel, Tableau, or Power BI are preferred.
  • US healthcare expertise is preferred.
