Description

  • Own the full lifecycle of email platform migrations from discovery through go-live and post-migration QA.
  • Lead client kick-offs, manage migration timelines, and coordinate stakeholder communications across concurrent projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical migration questions from account teams and clients.
  • Audit legacy ESPs, contact databases, and connected tech stacks to document flows, segments, data schemas, and deliverability baselines.
  • Export and offboard data from source platforms, including contacts, custom properties, historical performance data, and legacy automation logic.
  • Configure Klaviyo account structure, user permissions, API keys, billing tiers, tracking snippets, and compliance settings.
  • Set up and validate email infrastructure, including DNS, SSL, DKIM, SPF, DMARC, sending domains, and tracking links.
  • Define identity resolution rules and manage profile merging, data backfills, and unique identifier strategy across systems.
  • Manage integrations between ESPs and connected tools such as ecommerce, CRM, loyalty, helpdesk, POS, consent management, and webhooks.
  • Translate legacy flows into Klaviyo automation, build warming campaigns and new flows, and create reporting dashboards.
  • Execute QA across integrations, profiles, flows, DNS/authentication, data mappings, and deliverability thresholds.
  • Plan and coordinate cutover, legacy deactivation, no-send windows, and post-launch monitoring.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of hands-on experience in lifecycle and CRM marketing technology, ESP migrations, and/or martech implementation.
  • Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Experience with at least two ESPs such as Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Iterable, Braze, Mailchimp, or Attentive.
  • Hands-on experience configuring DNS records and email authentication protocols.
  • Experience with sending domain setup, subdomain delegation, and branded tracking link configuration.
  • Proven ability to manage API integrations, webhook configurations, and custom event setups.
  • Experience with subscriber data migrations, including schema mapping, backfill logic, and suppression management.
  • Strong knowledge of IP warming, including warming schedules, segmentation strategy, and reputation monitoring.
  • Experience in an agency or client services environment managing multiple concurrent client projects.
  • Experience auditing and extracting data from legacy ESPs and translating legacy flow/journey logic into equivalent Klaviyo architecture.
  • Experience defining identity resolution strategy and handling duplicate profile logic during migrations.
  • Experience building structured checklists for integration validation, testing, cutover planning, and go-live sequencing.
  • Working knowledge of DNS tools such as Cloudflare, Route53, GoDaddy DNS, or Google Domains.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON payloads, webhook event structures, ecommerce platforms, consent management platforms, and deliverability tools.
  • This is an independent contractor position.
