Description

  • Manage and deliver innovative solutions built on the Appian platform for customers.
  • Oversee agile delivery for Appian-led engagements, including risk management and impediment removal.
  • Partner with front-line sales reps to drive growth in strategic accounts and integrated deals.
  • Handle project management, account management, and relationship building with customers and partners.
  • Manage financial aspects of a book of business and use financial management tools and metrics.
  • Qualify opportunities, identify problems, define projects and use cases, and support demand generation.
  • Develop account strategy and support services positioning for customer engagements.
  • Work with architects, product designers, Sales, Partners, and Customer Success Managers to design and deliver solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an agile delivery environment with at least 1 year leading a team.
  • Proven background supporting State & Local Government contracts.
  • Experience managing a book of business using financial management tools and metrics.
  • Experience leading agile delivery teams and managing enterprise-scale technology programs.
  • Experience working with architects and product designers to design and deliver customer solutions.
  • Experience understanding customer strategic goals and developing application roadmaps and business cases.
  • Experience with one or more value selling methods and creating compelling business benefits for proposals and delivery.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders, buyers, and influencers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% annually to support customer engagement.
  • Industry experience in Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Insurance, or Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience in software consulting or enterprise architecture, such as ERP, CRM, BPM/Workflow, Data Integration Architecture, or EAI, is preferred.
