Description

  • Turn complex healthcare, operational, and cross-functional input into clear action plans for engineering and design teams.
  • Own and refine the product backlog, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases.
  • Lead Agile delivery ceremonies such as planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives.
  • Translate product strategy and operational feedback into technical requirements and workflows.
  • Coordinate across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Clinical Operations, and Care Coordinators to resolve priorities and delivery friction.
  • Manage feature timelines and release schedules to support predictable delivery.
  • Use usage metrics, operational analytics, and bug reports to prioritize work and make trade-offs.
  • Monitor sprint metrics, delivery velocity, bug counts, and release health to identify bottlenecks.
  • Incorporate user feedback, usability testing findings, and analytics into sprint iterations.
  • Communicate release timelines, risks, and scope changes to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure digital tools and feature updates comply with HIPAA and patient data privacy standards.
  • Standardize story templates, acceptance criteria, and sprint documentation in Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Delivery Lead, or Senior Business Analyst.
  • Hands-on software delivery experience and a strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery documentation.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and manage challenges collaboratively.
  • Experience writing release notes and how-to guides for feature launches.
  • Adaptable mindset that welcomes feedback, edge cases, and changing requirements.
  • Experience with 3rd-party API integrations and understanding of backend versus frontend concepts.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, G Suite, and Google Data Studio.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • High precision in documenting requirements and testing edge cases.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification (preferred).
  • Experience in a fast-paced healthtech or DTC startup environment (preferred).
  • Direct experience working with or within the LGBTQIA+ community (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of SQL for database querying and data analysis (preferred).
  • Experience with Looker, Google Analytics, or BigQuery for funnel and product metrics analysis (preferred).
  • Legal authorization to work in the USA and U.S. residency required.
