Description

  • Own satisfaction, retention, and expansion across a portfolio of key client accounts.
  • Directly manage top-tier, high-revenue client relationships and lead renewals, expansions, and other high-stakes conversations.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with ownership groups, asset managers, and executive stakeholders.
  • Translate client goals such as NOI, leasing, and positioning into actionable asset strategies.
  • Build and lead the Asset Strategy function, including team structure, roles, SOPs, workflows, and engagement models.
  • Directly manage Directors of Asset Strategy and ensure consistency in client experience, communication, and strategic quality.
  • Bridge insights from Playbook’s operations teams to ownership by turning on-the-ground observations into strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure every asset has a clear, tailored strategy across placemaking, technology, marketing, and communications.
  • Act as the connective layer across operations, design, placemaking, marketing, and technology teams.
  • Contribute to company strategy, new business development, and the evolution of Playbook’s services.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in client success, account management, or CRE strategy.
  • At least 5 years in a significant leadership role managing senior individual contributors or directors.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Real Estate or Hospitality preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of amenity strategy, tenant engagement, and asset performance within Class A commercial real estate.
  • Proven ability to build trust with C-suite stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to connect data points across marketing, design, and operations into a cohesive strategy for building owners.
  • Remote candidate based in the continental US; preference for candidates in or near NYC.
