Description

  • Manage relationships with new and existing investors and lenders.
  • Develop and maintain financial and operating models for strategic planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Track operating expenses, key financial metrics, and strategic goals, and provide performance-to-plan analysis and commentary.
  • Support operational needs for existing funding deals, including cash management and allocation of originations to facilities.
  • Produce periodic reporting and monitor funding facilities, including identifying automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Analyze and manage asset allocation across multiple funding channels to optimize funding efficiency and liquidity availability.
  • Support short-term liquidity forecasting and treasury monitoring to ensure adequate funding across facilities and corporate accounts.
  • Coordinate cash positioning and fund movements between corporate accounts, funding facilities, and partner payment flows.
  • Manage and validate funding data pipelines, including funding tapes, facility eligibility datasets, and reconciliations used in reporting and borrowing base calculations.
  • Collaborate with Product, Underwriting/Risk, Finance, Engineering, and Legal to improve funding program design, data pipelines, and operational workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, fixed income sales/trading/structuring, or a similar role, ideally in structured finance or securitization.
  • Experience working in an autonomous, fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience producing excellent reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to learn new concepts quickly, and ownership of work.
  • Consistent and novel use of AI tools to advance the finance discipline.
  • Fully remote work requires a high level of independence and maturity.
  • Proficiency in Excel and AI tools.
  • Good working knowledge of Looker, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles.
  • Commercial approach to structuring, marketing, and selling financial products.
  • Ability to use financial data to inform decisions.
