Description

  • Translate business strategy into talent strategies that reinforce culture and support business goals.
  • Advise senior leaders on organizational design, talent management, workforce planning, performance, rewards, and team member experience.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, including restructures, leadership transitions, reporting changes, and People programs.
  • Develop change management and communication plans to support adoption and reduce organizational risk.
  • Advise on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, investigations, employment law, and policy changes.
  • Build high-performing teams through talent development, training, performance enablement, and engagement programs.
  • Interpret engagement data and develop retention initiatives for critical employee groups.
  • Support executive and senior leadership onboarding and offboarding, while ensuring effective communication cascades.
  • Use Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp, Google Suite, Slack, and other technology to support HR operations, analysis, reporting, and adoption.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive HR, related business, or HR-function leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 8+ years in an HR Business Partner or People Partner role supporting multiple executives.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting insurance underwriting, claims, customer service, operations, sales, marketing, business development, engineering, product, or technology functions.
  • Knowledge of incentive plan design is preferred for candidates supporting sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday, and collaboration tools including Slack and Google Suite.
  • Experience with Greenhouse and Culture Amp preferred.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, highly dynamic virtual environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, collaboration, influence, change management, and execution skills.
  • Ability to apply employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices to mitigate organizational risk.
