Description

  • Own the People technology ecosystem, HRIS roadmap, governance, integrations, access controls, vendors, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the HRIS modernization, including requirements, data migration, configuration, testing, training, rollout, and adoption.
  • Govern People data quality and develop dashboards, self-service reporting, and proactive controls.
  • Lead payroll governance, accuracy, compliance, audits, documentation, exception management, and risk controls.
  • Own onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, contractor processes, I-9/E-Verify, and international Employer of Record operations.
  • Lead Benefits and Compliance capabilities, including vendor partnerships, audit readiness, escalation support, and operating rhythms.
  • Manage and develop People Operations team members while establishing clear ownership, documentation, backup coverage, and escalation paths.
  • Redesign People workflows using AI, automation, self-service, and first-principles process improvement.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, Security, Legal, Talent, and People leadership on systems, reporting, compliance, controls, and operational decisions.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of progressive People Operations, HRIS, HR technology, payroll operations, or related experience.
  • Experience leading a major HRIS implementation or transformation; direct Rippling experience strongly preferred and ADP Workforce Now experience a plus.
  • Strong payroll fluency, including multi-state requirements, controls, audits, exceptions, and upstream HRIS data dependencies.
  • Experience leading and developing operational team members and establishing cross-functional accountability.
  • Strong systems and data orientation across process architecture, reporting, integrations, data quality, controls, and execution.
  • Demonstrated success redesigning workflows through automation, AI, self-service, or technology.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for problem-solving, analysis, and workflow design.
  • Strong analytical, spreadsheet, judgment, and attention-to-detail skills, with a focus on durable solutions.
  • Ability to partner effectively with Finance, IT, Security, Legal, Talent, and senior People leaders.
  • Working fluency in compensation and benefits operations; deep compensation strategy expertise is not required.
