Description

  • Assess, coach, and develop the demand generation team while building individual development plans and closing skill gaps.
  • Set performance expectations and foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead both the strategic and tactical execution of demand generation initiatives across the full buyer journey.
  • Own marketing-sourced pipeline targets and the contribution of marketing to bookings.
  • Scale and optimize multi-channel campaigns across paid search, paid social, display, email nurture, webinars, and interactive content.
  • Manage budget allocation and pacing across channels and segments to support lead flow and revenue goals.
  • Partner with paid media agencies and external consultants to guide strategy, review performance, and improve creative and targeting.
  • Own the organic growth strategy, including SEO and AI Engine Optimization, and direct content workflows for TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU content.
  • Drive conversion rate optimization across landing pages, forms, and key conversion points in the funnel.
  • Track full-funnel performance, interpret data to identify root causes, and design experiments to improve conversion and speed through the funnel.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing Operations on attribution, reporting, funnel definitions, lead scoring, routing, and handoff criteria.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to improve speed-to-lead, response SLAs, and lead quality feedback loops.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in B2B demand generation.
  • At least 3 years of people-leadership experience managing and developing a team.
  • Experience operating across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments with varying sales cycle lengths and buyer complexity.
  • Proven track record of owning marketing-sourced pipeline targets and delivering measurable revenue impact in a scaled SaaS environment; $75M+ ARR preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, diagnose problems, and build actionable plans.
  • Deep experience with digital advertising, campaign management, SEO/AEO, CRO, and optimization across paid and organic channels.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Pardot or Marketo, attribution platforms, 6sense, Clay, Google Analytics, and Google/LinkedIn/Meta ad platforms.
  • AI-first mindset with experience building agentic workflows and using AI tools, with Claude preferred.
  • Experience managing external agency and vendor relationships across paid media, SEO, and creative.
  • A scaling mindset and comfort optimizing an existing growth engine rather than building from scratch.
