Description

  • Own end-to-end funnel analysis to identify drop-off points and conversion opportunities.
  • Partner with the Growth team to prioritize and measure funnel improvement initiatives.
  • Define and track leading and lagging metrics, including business KPIs such as ARR, churn, LTV, and CAC.
  • Translate business KPIs into actionable product signals that guide growth decisions.
  • Create dashboards that show how product improvements impact customer value and business outcomes.
  • Design and lead A/B tests focused on improving funnel conversion across different areas of the product.
  • Propose new experiments to uncover customer value levers and optimize conversion rates.
  • Select success metrics, analyze experiment results, and interpret statistical significance to support decisions.
  • Develop and maintain data models using dbt and apply data modeling best practices in BigQuery.
  • Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, preferably in a SaaS or growth environment.
  • Proven experience in funnel analysis and conversion rate optimization.
  • Strong A/B testing experience, including designing complex experiments, running multivariate tests, and analyzing statistical significance.
  • Strong business acumen and project management skills with the ability to define scope and execute autonomously.
  • Expert-level SQL skills, including window functions and query optimization.
  • Experience with BigQuery or a similar cloud data warehouse.
  • Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Metabase, and an understanding of visualization best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Python experience for data analysis and automation, including cohort analysis and customer segmentation, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with growth frameworks and product-led growth strategies is a plus.
  • Pragmatic AI fluency and experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis and self-serve data work.
