Description

  • Support recruitment by posting openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Prepare offer letters, new hire packets, orientation schedules, and other onboarding materials.
  • Manage offboarding activities including equipment retrieval, access removal, and exit interviews.
  • Maintain employee records in the HRIS and track PTO, benefits enrollment, and status changes.
  • Generate HR reports on headcount, turnover, and compliance for leadership.
  • Partner with payroll and finance teams to reconcile hours, benefits, deductions, and payroll inputs.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and employee benefits inquiries.
  • Draft and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs.
  • Ensure HR practices and documentation comply with labor laws and multi-state regulations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, support performance management, and escalate sensitive issues to HR leadership.
  • Coordinate employee training sessions and track completion of required training and certifications.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of HR support or HR operations experience.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems such as BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, Zenefits, or similar.
  • Familiarity with U.S. labor law compliance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and process management skills.
  • Comfort supporting employees across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Trusted communication skills with the ability to balance empathy and compliance.
  • Preferred: SHRM-CP, PHR, or a similar HR certification.
  • Preferred: Experience with multi-state or international payroll and compliance.
  • Preferred: Experience in SaaS, professional services, or high-growth startup environments.
  • Preferred: Process improvement or HRIS implementation experience.
