Description

  • Build and launch email campaigns using an email service provider such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Write subject lines, email copy, and calls-to-action tailored to audience segments.
  • Design and optimize responsive email templates aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Perform light HTML/CSS edits to improve formatting and rendering when needed.
  • Maintain and organize email databases and segment audiences by lifecycle stage, engagement, persona, geography, and behavior.
  • Clean and manage email lists by removing inactive users, hard bounces, spam traps, and duplicates.
  • Build and maintain drip campaigns, nurture sequences, abandoned cart flows, onboarding workflows, and other behavioral automations.
  • Test automation logic and trigger conditions, and continuously optimize workflows for engagement and conversion.
  • Monitor deliverability, inbox placement, sender reputation, and email authentication settings such as SPF, DKIM, DNS, and suppression lists.
  • Conduct A/B tests, analyze campaign performance, build dashboards and reports, and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional email marketing experience.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major ESP such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation and email automation workflows.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting, and segmentation.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email template customization.
  • Experience tracking and analyzing email campaign performance metrics.
  • Experience managing email programs for 50k+ contacts is preferred.
  • Familiarity with deliverability and inbox placement tools such as Litmus, GlockApps, or Postmark is preferred.
  • Experience integrating ESPs with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot is preferred.
  • Background in SaaS, e-commerce, or professional services is preferred.
  • Understanding of lifecycle marketing and behavioral email strategies is preferred.
