Description

  • Develop financial models that evaluate the commercial performance of film and television projects across multiple distribution windows.
  • Incorporate production budgets, cost structures, financing structures, investor positions, revenue streams, and return timelines into investment models.
  • Model revenue across theatrical, SVOD, AVOD, FAST, Pay TV, and international licensing pathways.
  • Use Parrot Analytics’ audience demand and content valuation data to inform revenue assumptions and commercial scenarios.
  • Benchmark projects against comparable titles across genres, markets, and platforms.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to assess downside risk, capital exposure, break-even thresholds, and investor returns.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis across key variables such as budget changes, distribution outcomes, and shifts in audience demand.
  • Produce financial analyses for funds, studios, and investors evaluating content opportunities.
  • Translate complex financial models into clear insights for non-technical decision-makers.
  • Help design repeatable modelling frameworks and analytical tools for film and television investment evaluation.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in financial modelling and investment analysis.
  • Experience in film or television investment funds, studio finance, content strategy, media-focused investment banking, private equity, entertainment strategy consulting, or corporate finance within media or technology companies.
  • Direct experience with film finance structures, production budgets, or distribution economics is required.
  • Advanced Excel financial modelling skills, including building complex models from scratch.
  • Experience with scenario analysis, sensitivity modelling, and structured investment return frameworks.
  • Strong investment analysis mindset with the ability to evaluate risk and return.
  • Comfort integrating external datasets and quantitative signals into financial forecasts.
  • Ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Arabic is preferred to support regional clients.
  • Genuine interest in the economics of film and television projects.
