Description

  • Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, including carve-outs and divestitures, from initial risk assessment through deal close and post-transaction support.
  • Direct quality of earnings, net working capital, normalized EBITDA, and cash flow analyses to identify key value drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Design and deliver advanced analytics solutions, including data modeling, interactive dashboards, and visualization outputs for executive-ready insights.
  • Use hypothesis-led, data-enabled methods to uncover performance trends, margin dynamics, revenue quality, and balance sheet considerations.
  • Integrate analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, and R into diligence workflows.
  • Develop and implement firm-approved AI-enabled solutions in compliance with data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
  • Oversee client accounts, project plans, staffing, timelines, budgets, and fee negotiations across all engagement phases.
  • Lead business development and market FDD Analytics services to private equity sponsors, corporate acquirers, and lenders.
  • Resolve project issues, mitigate deal-related risks, and address team conflicts in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Build scalable delivery methodologies and new service offerings while coaching and developing junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • CPA, CA, or CFA certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or a related field within public accounting or professional services.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial due diligence concepts, including quality of earnings, net working capital analysis, pro forma adjustments, and deal structuring.
  • Proficiency with analytics and data platforms such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience building and maintaining client relationships with private equity firms, corporate development teams, and lenders.
  • Proven ability to identify growth and shared revenue opportunities through collaboration with sales leadership.
  • Comfort responsibly exploring and adopting firm-approved AI tools to improve productivity and innovation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, depending on client needs.
  • Passion for mentoring and leading teams while implementing new ideas and initiatives.
