Description

  • Develop and execute a vertical growth strategy focused on direct reach, user acquisition, engagement, and revenue.
  • Drive demand through growth marketing channels such as outbound email, social, network marketing, and content-led acquisition.
  • Collaborate with the Email Product Lead to run targeted campaigns using templates, segmentation, CDP data, and Omeda.
  • Partner with the eCommerce Product Lead to build SEO- and list-building-focused landing pages and support paid marketing efforts.
  • Work with the Events Product Lead to support event-led growth, including speaker sourcing and promotion through Eventbrite and Airmeet.
  • Collaborate with the Newsletter Product Lead to drive sponsorship revenue and product placements in newsletters.
  • Use Google Analytics and other analytics tools to monitor channel performance and adjust tactics based on data insights.
  • Design and run conversion rate optimization experiments, A/B tests, and user flow improvements to strengthen funnel performance.
  • Lead vertical-specific catalogue curation and create custom landing pages for user segments and vendor presses.
  • Report growth plans, performance metrics, and results to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or a related user acquisition role.
  • Proven experience driving growth through SEO, PPC, email, and content marketing channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics and the ability to interpret performance data.
  • High ownership and initiative, with the ability to manage and execute projects independently.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working across eCommerce, email, events, and other functional teams.
  • Experience in tech publishing, SaaS, or another content-driven industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle marketing and retention strategies is preferred.
  • Experience with rapid experimentation and A/B testing to optimize user journeys is preferred.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work across evolving products, formats, and team structures.
  • Willingness to build domain knowledge and engage with users and experts in the vertical.
