Description

  • Own the overall marketing strategy and performance across the funnel.
  • Set direction for demand generation programs and ensure alignment with marketing operations.
  • Define and evolve Packback’s positioning, messaging, and differentiation in the market.
  • Own Packback’s narrative around AI in higher education.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and RevOps to align on ICP, funnel stages, pipeline performance, and launches.
  • Build and scale the company’s content engine across eBooks, webinars, research, blog content, and events.
  • Develop insight-driven thought leadership that supports awareness and conversion.
  • Lead customer marketing efforts, including customer stories, testimonials, and case studies.
  • Manage and develop two direct reports across demand generation and marketing operations.
  • Coach the team, maintain accountability, and step in as a hands-on contributor when needed.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing.
  • Experience across product marketing and content strategy.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Proven ability to define positioning and bring products to market effectively.
  • Experience building or evolving a brand and positioning within an emerging or competitive category.
  • Experience leveraging customer insights and voice-of-customer data to inform messaging, positioning, and content.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Experience leading or overseeing demand generation and pipeline performance.
  • Background in EdTech, higher education, or mission-driven SaaS is a strong plus.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
