Description

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through closing new business opportunities.
  • Sell high-value, pre-designed solutions in close collaboration with company leadership.
  • Diagnose customer problems and position solutions consultatively based on business needs.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles and close high-value contracts.
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns through email sequences, voice calls, and other multi-touch outreach.
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and conferences to build relationships in person.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound marketing leads and respond to buying signals.
  • Propose and support Opreto-hosted events to drive engagement and relationship-building.
  • Stay engaged after the sale to identify expansion and follow-on revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with founders and manage pipeline activity in HubSpot, including deal progression, risks, next steps, and contacts.

Requirements

  • Experience owning the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, and closing.
  • Experience selling consultatively to well-qualified prospects and managing complex sales conversations.
  • Comfort working in a founding sales role with ambiguity and no established playbook.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to connect with senior stakeholders and decision-makers in person.
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution in a high-ownership environment.
  • Willingness to attend approximately 3 trade shows, networking events, or conferences per quarter.
  • Experience working with CRM tools, specifically HubSpot, or ability to ramp quickly.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value during proposals.
  • Experience in or familiarity with healthcare, manufacturing, greenhouse/CEA, or education is preferred.
  • Comfort with partnership development, co-selling motions, and long-term account expansion is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $80,000–$90,000 CAD.
  • OTE of $110,000–$150,000+ CAD with uncapped commission.
