Description

  • Own Onit’s category narrative and corporate positioning, including how the company defines what it replaces and why its differentiation is defensible.
  • Set the master brand story that Product Marketing translates into product messaging and Revenue Marketing carries into demand programs.
  • Lead the evolution of Onit’s positioning through the market and AI category shift, keeping the story ahead of competitors.
  • Partner with the VP of Marketing and executive team to align brand narrative with company strategy and key market moments.
  • Monitor the competitive brand landscape and adjust positioning in response to moves by key competitors.
  • Own Onit’s brand identity, voice, and visual system, and set the standard for how they are applied across the company.
  • Lead the website as a brand expression, owning the experience, design language, and first-time visitor story in partnership with web and design teams.
  • Direct creative and design resources to produce on-brand work at the pace of an AI company.
  • Own brand presence at tier-one events and lead the OnPoint community as an always-on brand channel.
  • Own earned media, PR, executive thought leadership, and brand measurement, while supporting investor-facing narrative and analyst storytelling.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of brand or corporate marketing experience in B2B technology, ideally enterprise SaaS.
  • Experience owning category positioning through a significant market shift.
  • At least one example of building or rebuilding a brand identity or narrative.
  • A portfolio demonstrating narratives authored, identities shaped, and reputation work with measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience with organic social, PR, and thought leadership as a growth system.
  • Fluency in how AI affects both product storytelling and visibility in AI search and LLMs.
  • Experience building and leading a team, including developing people and raising craft standards.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills with a direct point of view.
  • Ability to hold brand standards across teams while partnering effectively with Product Marketing and Revenue Marketing.
  • A bias for speed, high-volume output, and comfort operating in ambiguity.

  • $150,000 - $175,000 annual base salary.
  • 15% bonus target.
