Description

  • Own the intake, triage, and resolution of non-standard pricing requests, including recommendations and approval routing.
  • Apply C&I solar and O&M expertise to diagnose complex deal situations and turn decisions into clear guidance for Sales.
  • Coordinate contract and redline questions with pricing or structural implications so deals move forward without delays.
  • Proactively communicate deal status, risks, and blockers to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Identify breakdowns in the pricing ecosystem and work with owners to close gaps and reduce manual exceptions.
  • Partner with Finance, Field Service, and Product to improve pricing model inputs and reduce manual intervention over time.
  • Capture the rationale and outcomes of non-standard deals and feed learnings back into Finance and Product.
  • Manage and develop a team of two through coaching, prioritization, feedback, and day-to-day guidance.
  • Set team priorities, balance urgent deal support with longer-term process improvements, and build independent problem-solving capability.
  • Create structure for workflows, decision-making, and escalation paths to improve clarity and consistency.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in C&I solar, with direct exposure to O&M service economics, contract structures, and commercial pricing.
  • Strong command of C&I solar deal structures, including PPA/lease mechanics, O&M contract terms, and performance guarantee frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to resolve complex deal questions.
  • Experience working with or alongside a deal desk, pricing function, or revenue operations team.
  • People management experience, with a track record of developing analytical team members.
  • Strong, proactive communication skills and the ability to surface issues early and drive alignment.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating structure in areas with limited process definition.
  • Curious, continuous-improvement mindset with the ability to iterate and improve systems.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with CPQ and deal management tools.
