Description

  • Source new prospects and expand existing accounts to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Manage full-cycle sales from prospecting and pricing through negotiation, contracting, and initial onboarding.
  • Develop consultative sales strategies for the distributed generation segment to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Represent Omnidian at industry conferences, client meetings, and other events.
  • Support preparation and execution of project RFPs, MSAs, and System Enrollment Forms (SEFs).
  • Maintain accurate CRM records for forecasting and market intelligence.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders to refine scopes of work.
  • Manage and grow existing distributed generation accounts through Quarterly Business Reviews and Voice of Customer initiatives.
  • Lead negotiations for complex asset management and O&M agreements, payment structures, and legal terms.
  • Communicate contractual obligations clearly to Finance, Operations, and Legal teams to support delivery.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in strategic sales or business development, ideally in solar and storage asset management, project development, or a related O&M, analytics, or management role.
  • Advanced understanding of distributed generation project development, performance analytics, reporting, guarantees, and the C&I investment landscape.
  • Experience or depth of knowledge in community solar project development, asset management, and current market expansion.
  • Demonstrated success closing complex deals with developers, IPPs, corporates, asset owners, or investors.
  • Experience navigating multi-stakeholder purchasing decisions.
  • Ability to analyze portfolio data, draw insights, and communicate them clearly to C-suite executives.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first growth-stage environment with heavy cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A robust industry-wide network is preferred.
  • Passion for clean energy, sustainability, and technology-driven environmental impact.

  • $125,000–$190,000 base salary, with on-target earnings of $265,000 including commission.
