Description

  • Design and develop backend services and APIs in Java and .NET.
  • Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and ASP.NET Core.
  • Work across the full backend stack, including business logic, data access, and API integrations.
  • Write clean, well-tested code using JUnit, xUnit/NUnit, and test-driven development practices.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and security.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Git, GitHub Actions, or similar tooling.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong Java proficiency with experience in modern Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and JPA/Hibernate.
  • .NET development experience including C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API development.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS is a plus.
  • Understanding of federal security and compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; some roles may require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
