Description

  • Contribute to the vision and architecture of the document domain, a key component of the application.
  • Improve reliability and maintain high quality standards for the document platform.
  • Enhance developer experience by reducing time-to-change and increasing change confidence for other developers.
  • Identify and address systemic issues within the document domain.
  • Overcome scale-related technical challenges in a fast-growing product environment.
  • Support the long-term domain excellence strategy.
  • Collaborate on evolving the document platform to enable new product capabilities.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of development experience with Python.
  • Experience with relational databases, including SQL queries, migrations, and optimization.
  • Solid experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ, NATS, or Kafka.
  • Understanding of event-based systems and basics of DDD.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AsyncIO.
  • Good understanding of the development cycle from requirements analysis and deployment to application monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience developing applications in both monolithic and microservice architectures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience with Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, NATS, or Grafana stack is relevant to the role.
