Description

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account and territory plan to win new business.
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities across assigned territory and accounts.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of Obsidian Security’s offerings and customer value.
  • Align with partners and alliances to maximize opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Customer Support to advance deals.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Participate in sales enablement training.
  • Build and manage customer and executive-level relationships to support new business acquisition.
  • Use market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer insights to support the sales process.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience.
  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
  • Experience evangelizing new technology into Fortune 1000 accounts.
  • Ability to maintain and manage existing client relationships and accounts.
  • Ability to build new relationships across IT Security and other business functions, including C-level contacts.
  • Strong prospecting, deal qualification, and proof-of-value management skills.
  • Experience capturing accurate pipeline and forecast information in CRM systems.
  • Ability to understand customer business issues and map solutions to value.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Must be based in the Central region of the U.S. (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, or South Dakota) for this 100% remote role.
