Description

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account and territory plan for new logo acquisition.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities across assigned territory and accounts.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Build a strong understanding of Obsidian Security’s offering and value proposition.
  • Align with partners and alliances to maximize opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services to advance deals.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and sales process management.
  • Participate actively in sales enablement training.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience.
  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
  • Experience evangelizing new technology into Fortune 1000 accounts.
  • Ability to manage existing client relationships and accounts.
  • Ability to build relationships across IT Security and other business lines, including C-level contacts.
  • Strong prospecting, deal qualification, and POV management skills.
  • Ability to understand customer business issues and map value to a solution.
  • Experience maintaining accurate CRM records, pipeline data, close ratios, and market intelligence.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and partners to close opportunities.
  • Ability to stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and differentiate product value to prospective clients.
