Description

  • Partner with ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ship production features across Playvox WFM and CoPilot for WFM.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines that prepare data for feature consumption.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable machine learning and generative AI workflows.
  • Integrate Amazon Bedrock and proprietary or foundation models into customer-facing agentic features.
  • Automate the ML/AI lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, inference, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end application functionality.
  • Develop APIs or UX components needed to bring features to life.
  • Use AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development, testing, and code review.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or similar role building and deploying solutions on AWS.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
  • Experience writing and maintaining high-quality, production-grade code.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, EC2/ECS, RDS, and DynamoDB.
  • Experience with NoSQL data stores, preferably MongoDB or another document database.
  • Experience building and maintaining real-time, low-latency data streaming pipelines from multiple sources.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, ETL, and data lake or relational database concepts.
  • Experience with GitHub source control, CI/CD, and containerized deployment.
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservice architecture.
  • Preferred experience with Apache Spark, AWS Step Functions, Snowflake, agentic AI workflows, Amazon Bedrock, Kubernetes, IAM roles, security groups, data science teams, and productionizing machine learning models.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills are preferred.
