Description

  • Own a territory and drive new account acquisition across target enterprise accounts.
  • Build and manage an ambitious pipeline of new-logo business to exceed quota.
  • Navigate complex organizations and sell to multiple decision-makers.
  • Identify customer needs and configure the right offering from New Relic’s portfolio.
  • Expand top-of-funnel activity through personal prospecting alongside centralized marketing campaigns.
  • Develop relationships with executive sponsors, influencers, and day-to-day users at multiple levels.
  • Use New Relic’s sales process to close large-scale, multi-year consumption-based deals.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, document activities in Salesforce, and report progress to sales management.
  • Partner closely with a Solutions Consultant and Sales Development Representative to drive results.
  • Research public information and market signals to identify potential demand triggers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales experience.
  • Field sales experience selling software to Fortune 1000 customers.
  • Proven success in enterprise sales over a sustained period.
  • Experience in consultative, enterprise solutions selling.
  • Strong business sense and high energy.
  • Exceptional ambition with strong teamwork skills.
  • Deep and creative hunter-style sales skills.
  • Exceptional knowledge of observability solutions and New Relic positioning.
  • Previous experience selling observability solutions is preferred.
  • Technical background is preferred.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
