Description

  • Lead the technical design and architecture of New Relic solutions for large-scale customer deployments.
  • Design and implement automated deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code and scripting tools.
  • Integrate observability into customer Platform Engineering and CI/CD workflows.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on observability, APM, infrastructure monitoring, and log management.
  • Lead technical workshops and design sessions with customer architects, engineers, and leadership.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and optimization support during deployment and configuration phases.
  • Create technical documentation, blueprints, and training to enable customer and internal teams.
  • Translate complex customer needs into scalable, automated observability solutions.
  • Bridge product capabilities with customer cloud-native application and infrastructure environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical consulting, solutions architecture, or senior engineering roles focused on cloud and application performance technologies.
  • Proven experience with Platform Engineering concepts, including automated self-service infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
  • Deep expertise in automation, scripting (e.g., Python), and CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of observability concepts and products such as New Relic, Datadog, and Dynatrace.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate the value and implementation of observability to both technical and non-technical audiences.
