Description

Consult with clients to understand business goals, workflows, and collaboration needs.
Design, develop, configure, and deploy SharePoint and other Microsoft workplace solutions.
Support planning, implementation, migration, security, and governance for Microsoft 365 collaboration environments.
Articulate business transformation opportunities using Microsoft Cloud technologies.
Provide technical recommendations to improve collaboration, productivity, and security.
Work across multiple projects simultaneously, independently or as part of a small team.
Troubleshoot and proactively solve client issues and identify additional client needs.
Explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Stay current with trends and best practices in modern workplace solutions.
Travel as needed to support client engagements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or 5+ years of comparable experience.
Experience with Office 365, including Copilot.
Advanced knowledge of the Office 365 collaboration stack, including SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Groups, OneDrive, and Teams.
Experience with SharePoint planning, implementation, migration, security, and governance.
Knowledge of PowerShell, including Microsoft Office 365 native modules and community modules such as PnP.
Ability to communicate professionally with clients and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently or in a small team.
Experience migrating file shares, SharePoint, and cloud-based file repositories to Office 365.
Experience with enterprise-scale Microsoft-based systems in both on-premises and cloud environments.
Must be able to travel as needed and be a US citizen eligible for clearance; up to a 10-year background investigation may be required.
Relevant Microsoft certifications or willingness to continue upskilling are required.
Preferred: experience working for a technology consulting firm or software product company.
Preferred: working familiarity with Microsoft Azure, including Entra ID.
Preferred: experience envisioning, designing, and implementing a Modern Intranet.
Preferred: understanding of the Microsoft Viva suite.

Benefits

Remote work in the Eastern US / East Region.
Salary range of $120,000 to $210,000.
Benefits available through the Planet Technologies Benefit Guide 2025-2026.
