Description

  • Mine consumption and usage data to identify expansion opportunities and convert them into annual committed revenue.
  • Manage a high-volume territory by prioritizing accounts with strong expansion potential.
  • Run take-out plays to replace legacy tools and point solutions with New Relic’s platform.
  • Conduct Customer Business Reviews at scale and align technical usage with customer business goals and milestone timelines.
  • Identify and engage economic buyers in DevOps and engineering leadership to secure commitments and renewals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, deal forecasting, and pipeline hygiene across multiple opportunities.
  • Partner with Solution Engineering, Alliances, and Technical Customer Success to design and deliver customer solutions.
  • Share successful sales plays with the broader team to improve the commercial expansion motion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience driving expansion or growth motions in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Ability to manage a large volume of concurrent deals in a fast-paced sales cycle.
  • Ability to translate technical metrics such as GBs ingested and host counts into clear ROI narratives.
  • Experience with competitive displacement and identifying shelfware opportunities.
  • Deep familiarity with MEDDPICC or a similar qualification framework.
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to prioritize accounts based on real-time engagement signals.
  • Proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to share best practices across the team.
  • Experience working across diverse industries and adapting to different commercial environments.
  • Must be able to verify identity and work eligibility and complete employment verification.
  • A criminal background check is required for employment; export compliance assessment may be required for certain roles.
