Description

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts while managing a healthy P&L across Direct, SOW, and MSP portfolios.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to open new doors, new categories, and new clients and exceed sales objectives.
  • Partner with senior management on new initiatives and growth programs.
  • Create and adapt strategies to achieve team targets through creative sales approaches.
  • Work with proposal teams to identify, respond to, and fill RFIs and RFPs.
  • Conduct onsite client visits, build rapport, and develop long-term client relationships.
  • Attend community networking events to generate additional business relationships.
  • Collaborate with hiring leaders, department heads, stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement teams.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction using quality metrics and client scorecards and serve as the escalation point for current clients.
  • Track industry trends and identify new opportunities to grow the account portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience/education.
  • 8+ years of experience in Strategic Account Management and Business Development.
  • 5+ years of experience with Direct, SOW, and MSP-based clients in the commercial sector.
  • 3+ years of experience in the oil and gas and energy industry preferred.
  • Experience sourcing, qualifying, and responding to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Experience building sales automation systems and processes.
  • Experience leveraging current technologies and AI to automate tasks and outreach.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Must be tech-savvy and up to date on current technologies and recruitment trends.
