Description

  • Define and maintain the technical vision for assigned projects and the stack practice.
  • Make architectural and technology stack decisions aligned with long-term strategy.
  • Enforce coding standards, best practices, and engineering excellence.
  • Identify, prioritize, and oversee resolution of technical debt.
  • Provide direct line management for up to 12 developers, including 1:1s, performance reviews, career planning, and salary input.
  • Mentor developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Participate in recruitment and support onboarding for new hires.
  • Support presales with technical expertise, including high-level designs, architecture proposals, and risk identification.
  • Decompose business requirements into technical deliverables and support accurate estimations.
  • Monitor industry trends and recommend relevant innovations and solutions.
  • Contribute to department-wide discussions on technology, efficiency, optimization, and ways of working.
  • Strengthen client trust and satisfaction by ensuring high technical quality and timely delivery.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of deep technical experience in Python.
  • Experience with frontend development, preferably React.
  • Strong system design and architecture skills.
  • Previous experience in people leadership, including coaching, feedback, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong decision-making and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to balance business constraints with technical quality.
  • Excellent written and spoken English at C1+ level and Polish proficiency.
  • Experience with headless solutions such as CMS platforms like Strapi, e-commerce platforms like Medusa or Saleor, or payment gateways like Adyen is a plus.
