Description

  • Lead and mentor a small team of software engineers while fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Design and develop distributed systems, internal productivity tools, and multi-agent architectures.
  • Own build-versus-buy and integrate-versus-custom-build decisions for AI products, APIs, and internal components.
  • Evaluate, prototype, and integrate Agentic AI systems, LLMs, and Model Context Protocols to solve engineering and business problems.
  • Manage the full development lifecycle from concept through production deployment.
  • Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, maintainable, and deliver measurable value.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other engineering teams to align lab initiatives with company strategy.
  • Define technical roadmaps, lead code reviews, and drive high-level architectural decisions.
  • Set and maintain high standards for code quality and system performance.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience building, deploying, and operating complex large-scale distributed systems such as microservices or event-driven architectures.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers and defining technical roadmaps.
  • High proficiency in Python is mandatory.
  • Experience with at least one additional language such as Java, Go, TypeScript, or Scala is highly preferred.
  • Experience integrating large language models into production applications.
  • Basic understanding of the machine learning lifecycle and MLOps practices.
  • Strong ability to evaluate third-party tools, frameworks, and vendor solutions to choose efficient approaches.
  • Experience with internal developer tools, custom Model Context Protocols, or Agentic AI frameworks such as Vercel AI SDK, LangChain, or AutoGen is a nice to have.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a nice to have.
  • Familiarity with the ad-tech industry and real-time bidding systems is a nice to have.
