Description

  • Deliver data-backed scientific and clinical presentations for Natera’s oncology products and pipeline.
  • Build and manage relationships with investigators, oncologists, and key opinion leaders in relevant oncology areas.
  • Serve as a scientific liaison to investigators and KOLs, supporting protocols, referral networks, and recruitment challenges.
  • Support and coordinate clinical trial and research initiatives at academic institutions and study sites.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Product teams to align on scientific and clinical priorities.
  • Contribute to the creation and review of provider materials, communication tools, and publications.
  • Represent Natera at scientific and clinical congresses.
  • Advise the AI Product organization by translating oncology workflows and user needs into product requirements.
  • Provide clinical input into the design and interpretation of clinical validation studies for AI-enabled products.
  • Support Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to ensure AI solutions align with clinical practice and regulatory expectations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree required.
  • Advanced healthcare or scientific degree such as MD, PhD, PharmD, or DNP preferred.
  • Relevant board certification such as board-certified Genetic Counselor preferred.
  • Previous Medical Science Liaison experience preferred.
  • Oncology clinical or scientific experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial conduct and ICH-GCP.
  • Experience supporting investigator relationships and clinical trial recruitment.
  • Experience with clinical validation studies for AI-enabled diagnostics preferred.
  • Experience working in small- to mid-sized biotechnology companies preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM/CTMS-type platforms.
