Description

  • Design and develop predictive analytics, classification, forecasting, automation, and AI-assisted workflow solutions in Palantir Foundry.
  • Implement, evaluate, and optimize LLM, NLP, and RAG solutions using Palantir AIP, including prompts, embeddings, retrieval, vector search, and text processing.
  • Own AI solution lifecycles from experimentation and model development through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to assess data sources, maintain data quality, and build scalable processing approaches.
  • Integrate and optimize AI solutions for accuracy, reliability, latency, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Contribute to technical architecture, model and framework selection, and AI engineering best practices.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into production-ready solutions and communicate technical decisions and model limitations.
  • Identify technical risks and improvement opportunities, then propose and implement solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in machine learning, AI engineering, applied data science, or a related field.
  • Strong Python skills and experience with scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Practical experience with LLMs, NLP, or Generative AI applications, including prompt engineering, embeddings, and text processing.
  • Hands-on experience designing RAG architectures, vector databases, and retrieval strategies.
  • Understanding of the full ML lifecycle, including data preparation, feature engineering, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including tabular data, time series, text, and documents.
  • Ability to independently analyze ambiguous problems and drive solutions from concept through implementation.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining AI concepts and model behavior to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
  • Preferred: Foundry Ontology, Object Builders, Code Repositories, regulated-industry experience, AI privacy and compliance knowledge, and AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes familiarity.
