Description

  • Design, build, and maintain Python backend services, REST/GraphQL APIs, and system integrations.
  • Implement AI/LLM workflows, including retrieval-augmented generation, agentic orchestration, prompts, and guardrails.
  • Connect services, tools, and data sources into reliable, observable agentic platform workflows.
  • Translate Figma designs and design systems into responsive, accessible React interfaces.
  • Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to define, estimate, and iteratively deliver features.
  • Write readable, testable code; create unit and integration tests; and participate in code reviews.
  • Support secure, scalable engineering standards, tooling, and CI/CD practices for AI workloads.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across backend services, integrations, and frontend behavior.
  • Own features end to end, from API and AI integration through functional user interfaces.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including significant production Python development.
  • 2+ years of daily production use of an agentic coding harness such as Cursor, Windsurf/Devin, or Claude Code.
  • Practical expertise in agent skills, rules, prompt engineering, and loop engineering.
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or AI services such as AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, or AgentCore.
  • Strong REST/JSON API design and implementation experience; GraphQL is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, SQL/NoSQL persistence, queues, and event-driven patterns.
  • Experience with React preferred; Vue or Angular experience is acceptable with willingness to work in React.
  • Ability to implement responsive, accessible UIs from Figma or design specifications using component libraries.
  • Cloud-native development experience on a major cloud platform, preferably AWS, plus containerization concepts.
  • Familiarity with secure coding, OAuth/OIDC, RBAC, observability, agile delivery, and tools such as Jira.
  • Preferred experience includes agentic AI workflows, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, shared platforms, and design systems.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS AI/ML credentials, Anthropic Academy, Claude Certified Architect, or GitHub Copilot GH-300.
