Description

  • Orchestrate production pipelines using Databricks Jobs and Workflows, including task dependencies and failure handling.
  • Configure and maintain Databricks Asset Bundles deployments across development, QA, and production environments.
  • Manage model and artifact lifecycles in MLflow and Unity Catalog, including registration, versioning, aliases, and rollbacks.
  • Manage compute across workspaces and implement cost-monitoring tags and observability integrations.
  • Diagnose runtime incidents, maintain production pipeline health, and coordinate with development squads and platform teams.
  • Develop end-to-end knowledge of AI Factory products and support reliable data-to-operations workflows.

Requirements

  • Proven experience orchestrating data and machine learning pipelines on Databricks, including Jobs, Workflows, and cluster policies.
  • Advanced Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
  • Solid CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, Gitflow, and pull requests.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code using Databricks Asset Bundles.
  • Familiarity with code quality tools and standards such as Black, isort, and mypy.
  • Experience with multi-country schemas, drift monitoring, cost monitoring, or deployment automation preferred.
  • Experience with AI agents or agentic infrastructure, such as Mosaic AI Agent Framework, agent orchestration, or MCP, preferred.
  • Based in Mexico or a similar time zone with strong overlap with Mexico working hours preferred.
