Description

  • Develop, train, and fine-tune machine learning models for multimodal sensor data such as vision and LiDAR.
  • Implement supervised and self-supervised learning approaches to improve data search and retrieval.
  • Build scalable data preprocessing, augmentation, and inference pipelines for production use.
  • Help develop embedding-based search tools and active learning workflows to identify critical driving scenarios.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to monitor model health, data drift, system performance, and regressions.
  • Support the operational reliability of data mining services and assist with production issue diagnosis.
  • Follow software engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD, and unit testing for ML code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and machine learning engineers to turn prototypes into scalable engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; PyTorch is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Python with the ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
  • Working knowledge of version control, unit testing, and basic software design patterns.
  • Experience working with large datasets and proficiency in SQL, Pandas, and NumPy.
  • Solid understanding of the full machine learning lifecycle, from data cleaning and feature engineering to validation and deployment basics.
  • Proven ability to train models and evaluate them using standard metrics.
  • A proactive learner who thrives on constructive feedback and wants to grow in a high-stakes engineering environment.
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience with agentic systems, autonomous reasoning, chain-of-thought models, or LLM-based planning is preferred.
  • Background in autonomous driving, robotics, or real-time decision-making systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with multimodal learning, sensor fusion, or embodied AI is a plus.
  • Experience building active learning loops or ML-based data mining workflows is preferred.
  • Knowledge of model serving tools such as TF Serving, Triton, or TorchServe and MLOps platforms is preferred.
  • Publication in top-tier conferences such as ICCV, CVPR, or ECCV is a plus.

  • Base salary range of $144,000 to $192,000 USD.
  • Additional compensation may include a bonus and company equity.
